Today, we are continuing our look at how to unlimit God in our lives. Sometimes we would like to do big things for God, but God will only match His assignments for us with our character. He will use different methods to build our character, so that we can take on the big assignments from Him. He expects to start the process by being faithful in a little.

Last week we begin the process of unlimiting God in our lives, by taking the first step of recognizing that the problem is never with God. This week we take the next step by working on developing a deeper love relationship with God. There are unlimited layers of truth for us to discover and many things that God wants to share with us. We have to be ready and prepared for Him to share that truth with us. To unlimit God and be prepared for a deepening revelation of God in our lives, we must eat meat!

God can use night dreams or day dreams to reveal his purposes to us. Like Joseph, we need to make sure that we do not limit ourselves, based on our day to day circumstances. We need to realize that we have unlimited potential, when we follow God. Our dreams can be that inspiration God gives to carry us through life and help us to make the world a better place. Our life is a work of art. You are the artist. Your dreams can help you decide what will be on the canvas you paint.

God revealed his plan for Joseph through two dreams. Those dreams led to both good and bad things in his life, both of which were used to transform Joseph from a lad ripe with the ability to become arrogant into a godly man who would reign just under Pharaoh and save his family and the future of Israel. Last week we saw that as Jesus entered Jerusalem, he not only entered as King on that donkey, but He entered as a willing sacrifice and we saw that foretold in the story of Isaac when he went as a willing sacrifice with his father, Abraham, to Mount Moriah. Today, we will look at the foreshadowing of Christ’s Resurrection and return for His Bride, the Church, in the story of Isaac and Rebecca.

Today, we will look at the foreshadowing of Christ’s willing sacrifice and substitutionary work on the cross in the story of Abraham and Isaac in the book of Genesis. Then we will look at how God calls us to be a living willing sacrifice.
