We Aim to Please God
Sunday Jan 19, 2020

At the Mount of Transfiguration, God spoke from a bright cloud within earshot of three of the Disciples. He told them, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” They never forgot that voice and those words. Peter spoke of them again in his epistle. Jesus’ aim was to please His Father. Since He is our example, we should aim to please God too. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

It is on the mountain tops of spiritual experience with our Lord and Savior, Jesus, that we experience a deeper love for Him as He reveals His love for us. It is easy for us to hold up “The Banner of Love” during the height of spiritual experience with God, but we are challenged in the face of that “roaring lion” who seeks to devour us, to courageously and joyfully hold up that “Banner of Love” for Him!

Mountains and Valleys
Sunday Aug 02, 2015

Mountain top experiences with the Lord are wonderful. We wish we could just stay on the mountain top with Jesus, however, we all must come down off the mountain top to take what we have received or learned and share it with others. We may enter the valleys of life and face tough situations, but God has given us what we need to get through those valleys.
