Imagination - Part 2: Closing the Gap
Sunday Aug 26, 2018
Sunday Aug 26, 2018
Imagination is a powerful tool that God has given to us to use for our lives on earth and to learn about Him and His ways. This message series will explore some of the images that Jesus and His Disciples used to teach us about God and what our union with Christ means. This week we will work on closing the gap between what we learn in scripture about our union with Christ and what we really experience in our daily lives. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga #Imaginationatfsbc

During the summer, many families use their time off to take a vacation. These trips can be a great opportunity for families to spend time together, show each other love, & model grace to the world. But what if we took this same approach during the other fifty-one weeks of the year? This series discusses both the importance of family relationships, and how parenting is a way for parents to help their children understand God's grace and love. This week we will see how our family can focus on blessing others even when we are on a family vacation. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga #FamilyVacation

A Willing Sacrifice
Sunday Apr 09, 2017
Sunday Apr 09, 2017
As Jesus entered Jerusalem, he not only entered as King on that donkey, but He entered as a willing sacrifice. So to, Isaac, Abraham’s son, went as a willing sacrifice with his father to Mount Moriah. Today, we will look at the foreshadowing of Christ’s willing sacrifice and substitutionary work on the cross in the story of Abraham and Isaac in the book of Genesis. Then we will look at how God calls us to be a living willing sacrifice.

Weary and Discouraged? Give Thanks!
Sunday Nov 20, 2016
Sunday Nov 20, 2016
After many years of bad economy, political and social changes, world instability, terrorism, moral decline, natural disasters, personal, relational and economic problems, and not the least the ever-increasing Christian persecution, we can become weary and discouraged. But through it all, as we look to God, He guides us and provides grace in every given need and situation. For this we are grateful with thankful hearts to God! We can find encouragement from the example of those who went before us and suffered, and by remembering Christ who endured much for us and we will not grow weary or discouraged as a result.

The Devourer
Sunday Jun 26, 2016
Sunday Jun 26, 2016
Loss of income, property, health, family deaths, natural disasters and personal tragedies can be frightening for the Christian, yet we have hope and comfort with Christ. We can feel a sense of being devoured spiritually or physically when bad things happen. The Bible teaches us about “The Devourer” who seeks whom he may devour. In this message we will examine the three things Christians can do to keep from being devoured.

Look Below the Surface
Sunday Jun 12, 2016
Sunday Jun 12, 2016
God sees people differently than we do. Humans tend to look at the surface. Jesus was often ridiculed because He sat with sinners. He knew their heart. God looks at our hearts and thankfully loves us despite our sinful condition. Just as God looks below the surface of our skin to our heart, we too, need to look below the surface to our own hearts and below the surface of other people in to their hearts. We must see people as God sees people and learn to love others as He does.
