Today we talk about a church, like ours, placed on a highway that was meant to spread the Hellenist Greek culture along the highways that were built out of it to the world.  We will then see how God had other plans for them. He had different good news to share on those highways leading out of town.  Jesus will open a door of opportunity for them that no one can shut. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

John the Baptist was that voice crying in the desert that God would use to prepare the way to draw His people back to Him. God would use John to present His Son, the Messiah to His people.  Like John, we are called to reach people in their spiritual desert and make a highway for our God to reach them.  #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Jesus is building His spiritual Temple through us. There are spiritual sacrifices which Christians are to offer up through their life as His Temple: 1.Bodies, 2. Souls, 3. Affections, 4. Last week we talked about how the Messiah, Jesus came to bring repentance and remission of sins and build His Temple. This week we discuss how the purpose of this spiritual Temple is to offer up spiritual sacrifices to God. The spiritual sacrifices which Christians are to offer up are their: 1.Bodies, 2. Souls, 3. Affections, 4. Prayers and Praises.  Today Pastor will focus on the spiritual sacrifice we offer with our bodies and how we are to build them up strong and beautiful.  #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Our Savior, our Lord, our King has come and we should want to share this good news with the world. The Shepherds recognized that after worshipping their Messiah, they needed to move on from there and tell others about Him. As a result others heard the good news and marveled too! When we first meet Jesus, we are amazed, we bow down and worship Him and Praise Him. But then that experience should drive us to run out into the streets and tell whose we meet about our experiences with Him and about what He did for us and can do for us.  #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

In the story of Jesus’ birth, we discover the heart of God and the meaning of the birth of this child. Here is a graphic picture of Jesus, the One sent to the lowly and outcast. In this story, we are reminded that Jesus came for people like the shepherds.  People like us. Our extraordinary God came to meet with ordinary people living ordinary lives.
