Our last few messages from the book of Luke have revealed Jesus’ power over nature and the powers of darkness. The human heart can be unprepared or prepared to receive God’s word, much like the soil of a field receiving seed. The type of preparation and care can affect the yield of the crop. Each human has a different heart and will have different results in response to the Holy Spirit and the Word.
