Bridges allow us to cross waterways and canyons. They take us from where we are to where we want to go. But a bridge goes both ways. It not only takes us to where we want to go, but it can take us back to where we were. Our lives contain spiritual bridges disguised in physical decisions. Sometimes we come to a spiritual waterway or canyon and we don’t’ know how to cross it. But we can cross that bridge with God’s help in to our better future. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

There is a lot going on in our world right now that can make many fearful. They may begin to wonder if God exists, is He paying attention, does He see what is going on with Riots, murders, racism, Covid-19, and the economic problems. But Jesus reminded His disciples and us in today’s passage in Luke that He is so aware that He even counts the hair on our heads. God cares very much for us and what we are experiencing in life. This Special Memorial Day Weekend Message was recorded on location at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. There where will be a few seconds here and there where the high wind muffles the Pastor’s words, hang on, it is only a few seconds and you will hear more clearly again. God is a miracle working God and He wants you to experience His miracle working power. We may think our problems are insurmountable and cannot be overcome or changed. But He is able to do far more abundantly than we can ask or think. So in these trying and unique times we are living, we need to ask Him for boldness and His power to work through us to witness in love to this world. Every time our Moms give us a warning, trying to teach us a life lesson, or restrict our running crazy or doing whatever we want, it is because our Moms love us and want the best life for us and want to protect us. Moms are a great demonstration of God and His love for us. God only wants the best for us and seeks to sometimes put fences up around us only to protect us. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

In 1972, a Christian movie called, “A Thief in the Night” debuted. It told the story of Patty, who woke up to find out that her husband had been raptured and that she was left behind. She had been short-sighted, before the Rapture. She didn’t join her husband in believing. She did not have clarity of vision in life and did not look forward to the Lord’s coming. Spiritual clarity in life begins when we receive Christ as Savior, then with each step of obedience we gain clearer vision and stay focused on our future. During times like these we all need some clarity. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga
