Time's A-Wastin'!

“Time’s a-wastin’!” is an old saying that was used to convey the thought that “Time is running out” or “It is getting late.  Hurry up!”.  Today we are going to take a look at some important time periods prophesied about in the Bible that are coming to an end.  We are going to take a look at how our time is running out and how we need to hurry up. Outside the Box

Last week Pastor Terry asked us, “If our church was pulled out of our community, would it be missed?”  To be missed, the church must have been an active and vital part of the community that was making a difference in it.  This requires catching God’s vision and acting upon it in faith.  If He has called us to do something, then we must go and do it no matter what our resources or abilities are.  Too many times we think inside our own logical boxes of reason.  We need to think outside of the box in faith.  We start this service with some words about going and witnessing from our International Mission Board and some Christmas music. Standing in Faith

We need to learn not to live by circumstances as the Israelites were doing in the Wilderness.  Instead we need stand in faith no matter what the circumstances are.  Without faith it is impossible to please God!  We must stand in faith and thereby share the hope of the gospel.

After Paul and the ship's crew were shipwrecked on the Island of Malta they are greeted with great hospitality from the islanders.  During which time the people were impressed with the miracle of Paul's snake bite and his ability to heal their people.  As a result in the midst of great trial, Paul was able to witness and win many to the Lord.  From there they head for trial in Rome.  Once again Paul took great risk and shared the good news with the Jews who were there.  This podcast concludes our study in Acts.  Next series will be in the Book of Daniel.

The Great Escape

In this message we will see how the pattern is set for prophecy in the Old Testament and re-iterated in the New Testament.  The prophecy of the Great Tribulation and the Great Judgment Day are prophecies that should motivate us in reaching others for Christ.   We are reminded that we need to aide others by introducing them to the "Great Escape" from God's Wrath and Judgment by Faith in Christ.
