Evidence of Sacrifice

Jesus asked His followers to take up their cross daily. Not occasionally, but daily. Taking up a cross meant sacrifice. Carrying our cross for Christ is evidence of our forsaking all to follow Him. Today, Pastor Terry will take a look at three men who said they would follow Jesus. The question is…did they mean it? The question to ourselves…do we mean it? Is there evidence in your life that reveals your passion to follow Christ? Is there evidence of sacrifice?

Let the Treasuring and Praising Begin!

Today Pastor Terry gave a shorter message following our Children’s Christmas Program.  The account of Mary’s and the Shepherd’s responses during the birth of our Lord and Savior reminds us that we, too, need to ponder or treasure God’s Word and rejoice in the Wonder of the Newborn King!

Let the Peace of God Sink In!

Jesus was born to bring us peace. The angels greeted the shepherds with that very message on the day He was born. We need to let the peace of God sink into our lives, no matter what the circumstance! We need to seek peace and pursue it. We need to make peace with our fellow man, so that others might come to know God’s peace too.

Bouncing Back

Pastor Terry had Open Heart Surgery five weeks ago. Please remember him in prayer as he recovers. While he is out we have scheduled different guest preachers from around the state to fill the pulpit. This week Peter Celum shares with us the steps every Church and Christian needs to follow to help the Church stay focused and unified.

People of the Book

Muslims consider Jews and Christians as “People of the Book”. They see us as people who cling to the Word of God, the Bible, the Book. What a compliment that is and yet, are we really “People of the Book”? What do “People of the Book” really think, and act like?
