The Word Infusion

Jesus gave us very clear instructions in John 20:21 - "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."  We are sent.  We are to be "Missional" people.  We are called to go out from the church and reach others.  Just as Christ came here to reach us.  Explore the Bible with Pastor Terry as we learn about being Missional people together in this message.

In the letter of 2nd Timothy we learn Paul is in prison in Rome.  Paul was expecting to receive the death sentence and wanted to write to strengthen Timothy and prepare him to withstand against false teachers.  He encourages Timothy to carry on the gospel message.

In this last chapter of I Timothy we are taught how we should be have in the workplace as Christians.  We are to give respect to our employers.  We are reminded to fight the good fight of faith.  The rich are also given instruction.

In this Bible Study, Pastor Terry goes back over Acts Chapters 1 through 3 bringing out the principles that Christians and Churches need to apply to be a Church on Fire for the Lord.  The summary sheets of the points are available on a separate posting on this site.

The focus of the cross is not the Crucifixion in itself, but the parallel display of God's wrath and God's love.  God hates the consequence of sin so much that He poured out His wrath on sin on His innocent Son, so we might be made innocent in Christ, His Son!  What amazing love!

In this chapter of I Timothy we talk about the treatment of various members of the church body.  Paul begins with treatment of our elders.  Younger Pastors and younger mature Christians are sometimes faced with the older Christians who may have stumbled in their walk.  We will explore the proper way to deal with this situation.  Next Paul discusses the definition of which widows the church is to care for and why.  Lastly, Paul shows how the elders or leaders of the church are to be cared for.

In this chapter we study about Peter and John's healing of the lame man at the gate called Beautiful.  We are inspired to be in tune with God and his leading.  If we listen and respond, He will lead us to do great things for Him that will be a witness to others.
