How far will the devil go to keep a Christian from serving God? The Apostle Paul experienced many things that the devil would attempt to keep him from doing the work of the Lord, but Paul never let it stop him. He always found places to witness in those situations. He trusted in his God who was bigger and smarter than anything the devil could bring against Paul, even unjust accusations in a court of law and time being held in prison. No lawyer or accusers can stand up against God.

Discipleship is nothing new. The Jewish culture had an intense discipleship process. In this message Pastor Terry will share with us the Jewish method of discipleship and how Jesus has chosen us to be His disciples. Like the Jewish student followed in the dust of his Rabbi's steps, we too, are called to follow in the dust of Jesus' steps. Discipleship takes work and Christians have far too long let discipleship go by the wayside, when we are to be living "the Way".

We learn a great deal from Paul in how to handle ourselves when being accused of wrong doing when we have done nothing wrong. He has kept a clear conscience that allows him to fight the battle easier. Paul also teaches us that we need to know the law of the land so we are able to defend ourselves better if we have to be in court. He shows us that even a Christian that has lived righteously can still have evil things spoken of them and must endure for the sake of Christ. Paul also shows us that we must make the most of every occassion to witness for Christ.
