Last week we learned about how Jesus sent the 70 disciples out ahead of Him into the cities. This week the disciples return with great joy about what they accomplished. Unfortunately, their joy was a prideful joy. Jesus explains to the disciples that pride comes before the fall and that their real joy should be a heavenly joy based on the fact that their names are written in the Lambs Book of Life.

Jesus sent out 70 of His disciples in pairs ahead of His arrival in to the cities and towns of Israel. They were sent to prepare the way, soften hearts, pray and share the good news that the Messiah had arrived. Just as those disciples went out in to their cities, we are called to do the same by our Lord. There are things we can do to begin the process of reaching our cities for God. Pastor Terry will give us some ideas on how we can begin to share the good news and bless our neighbors.
