Only because of the birth of Christ and His impact on our lives and the world can we truly acknowledge, It’s A Wonderful Life! This brings to mind the classic movie, where, George Bailey learned that his life did matter in spite of the trials and troubles he had in it. He learned that God had used his life to make a difference for the better in the lives of individuals in his community and even in the world. Today, we continue our message series on the Beatitudes of Matthew Chapter 5. Our last message series dealt with our union with Christ and what that meant. This message series is meant to take us to the next level in that union with Christ living it out in this world. The life Jesus describes in the “Sermon on the Mount” is impossible for us to accomplish on our own. The Kingdom Life is only possible if we are united to the King.
