Many of us experience physical, emotional, social or spiritual pain in our everyday lives. We may not like pain, but we need it. It helps us and can even be a blessing to us. Pain can take us to points of desperation or need and therefore, to pivotal moments of prayer and rescue; that we would never experience if left to our own comfortable routines. Bridges allow us to cross waterways and canyons. They take us from where we are to where we want to go. But a bridge goes both ways. It not only takes us to where we want to go, but it can take us back to where we were. Our lives contain spiritual bridges disguised in physical decisions. Sometimes we come to a spiritual waterway or canyon and we don’t’ know how to cross it. But we can cross that bridge with God’s help in to our better future. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

There is a lot going on in our world right now that can make many fearful. They may begin to wonder if God exists, is He paying attention, does He see what is going on with Riots, murders, racism, Covid-19, and the economic problems. But Jesus reminded His disciples and us in today’s passage in Luke that He is so aware that He even counts the hair on our heads. God cares very much for us and what we are experiencing in life.
