Today, we continue our message series on the Beatitudes of Matthew Chapter 5. Our last message series dealt with our union with Christ and what that meant. We live in a polarized world. We want everything to fit in box A or B, option 1 or 2. Fight or flight. Black or white. Left or right. But the Bible is filled with unexpected, hidden options. God can use night dreams or day dreams to reveal his purposes to us.  Like Joseph, we need to make sure that we do not limit ourselves, based on our day to day circumstances.  We need to realize that we have unlimited potential, when we follow God. Our dreams can be that inspiration God gives to carry us through life and help us to make the world a better place.  Our life is a work of art.  You are the artist.  Your dreams can help you decide what will be on the canvas you paint.

Sometimes it can feel like we have been shipwrecked.  Disasters, tragedies, hardships, difficulties, relationship issues, money problems, health problems are all around us.  We are floating at sea in the darkness of night, feeling all hope has been lost.  Thankfully, God always brings His Light in the morning.  He brings us hope even when we feel shipwrecked.

Adam and Eve were given truth by God and did not hunger after it.  Instead, they hungered after what they should not have.  God allows us to hunger, to teach us about ourselves.  Jesus is the Bread of life and He gives us truth that we can live by.  What are you hungry for?
