We begin our new Bible Study in the Book of Acts with this podcast in Chapter 1. We see the Disciples awaiting the Holy Spirit after the ascension of our Lord. We also receive the call to reach out to the world in Acts 1:8. Pastor Terry brings out a key point with this book of the Bible. When God said something, He always followed through with an action. The same is expected of us. We are not only say we are Christians, but we are to be Christians. We are to be doing and not just saying. We are to be a church on fire.

Many Christians choose to "sit under the pomegranate tree" when faced with difficult or impossible situations, like King Saul did in I Samuel chapter 14. We need to make the choice to have a faithful focus like Saul's son, Jonathan, did during the same type of situation. To seize Godly opportunities we required to have faith.
