Many Christians are living as P.O.W.s or Prisoners of War.  They have been fighting in a Spiritual War and taken captive because of doing battle with the wrong weapons. Sins become strongholds and only by God’s Spirit can the P.O.W.s escape their prison.  #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

The bridge of faith takes us from the natural to the supernatural.  Without crossing that bridge of faith we stay behind in a state of unbelief that keeps us in its power and stops God’s work in our lives. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

The disciples were in God’s will and were obedient to His instructions and yet they were placed in a storm.  What was Jesus doing in that storm? Why did He give them those instructions? #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Difficulty is the bully that steps into our path and tries to wrestle us to the ground and pin us until we cry “Uncle!” No matter what we are trying to do, if it is worthwhile, the bully will try to outshout both God and our own thoughts until he confuses us. The bully loves to sing about hurdles that have been around since the beginning of time. Isn’t that what Goliath, the Giant bully, was really saying to the Israelites? You’re too small, too weak, too insignificant! David, the young shepherd, had the right perspective about himself and God.  He had faith in who God is and who he was.  With that perspective he overcame the giant bully in his life.  We need to let God take down the bully in our life. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Last week we were challenged to cultivate our love relationship with Jesus. Why? Because as our relationship grows deeper and our love for Him grows there are four things that will develop in our walk with Christ: Purpose, Power, Passion and Perseverance. A Cultivated Love Relationship is the key to His power in our lives. To accomplish His Call or Purpose for our lives and to recognize His call or direction for our lives, we must spend time with Him. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Christ suffered, died, and rose to secure our new life in Him. We, too, must suffer to defend and protect the freedom and liberty that God the Father wants us to have through Christ His Son! We must stand strong and be part of that faithful remnant during this Church Age and let the coming reward be what encourages us on in the battle to live pleasing to God! #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Doesn’t life sometimes feel like a carnival?  Lots of ups and downs like a roller coaster or spinning out of control like the “Graviton” ride.  Sometimes we are stationary like a carnival ride and spinning out of control and going nowhere in life.  Elijah had a valuable lesson to teach us about this and today Pastor Terry speaks to us about how fight the craziness and busy-ness of life. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

This four-week series addresses a common question of Christian liberty: “What am I allowed to do?” Young believers struggle especially with this question, as they navigate the various authorities in their lives and the different ways Scripture talks about our freedom. With the freedom of summer comes even more questions about what’s “allowed” and what isn’t. This series will provide practical ways of honoring God with the freedom we have in Christ.  In part 1 today, we are going to examine our freedom and liberty in Christ. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga #Freedomatfsbc

We are not only called to “put off the old man” in Ephesians 4: 22-24, but we must be willing also for God to put the branding of shame, sufferings and misunderstanding on our lives, as Jesus did from childhood through the Cross.  This too is another phase of holding up the “Banner of Love”!

It is on the mountain tops of spiritual experience with our Lord and Savior, Jesus, that we experience a deeper love for Him as He reveals His love for us.  It is easy for us to hold up “The Banner of Love” during the height of spiritual experience with God, but we are challenged in the face of that “roaring lion” who seeks to devour us, to courageously and joyfully hold up that “Banner of Love” for Him!
