Sometimes we feel stressed, worried or overwhelmed by the things going on in our life or in our world.  God doesn’t want us to live that way.  David and Elijah are two examples of people in the Bible who felt that way.  Today, we will learn some ways to deal with that feeling and we start with David who cried out to God “from the end of the earth”.  #fsbccoalinga #coalinga #fsbcsermon

Many songs we sing at Christmas are reminders that Christmastime is supposed to be happy. Songs like "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas," "Jingle Bells," and "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" all communicate that Christmas time is to be a joyous, trouble-free season. But as we talked about last week, for some of you, personal problems may be keeping you from experiencing the joy of the season. Today, we look at what we can do this Christmas to avoid disillusionment. How we can improve our level of joy this Christmas. The answer is found in the story of the magi. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Maybe you feel like you can’t get past that sin or problem and move forward in life or your walk with the Lord. God doesn’t want us stuck in one spot or circling the same sin or problem over and over again…but the devil does! Jesus sets us free from our sin, gives us answers to our problems, and wants us making progress in our walk. Stop circling that mountain and turn northward!. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Certain situations take an emotional, physical and spiritual toll on us.  We refer to them as burdens.  These burdens wear us out, if we attempt to endure them alone.  We need to seek out God’s thermal lift and soar above our problems.  #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

We are living in a time period of much noise.  We are living in troublesome times and intense uncertainty.  With the War in Ukraine, many are concerned about WWIII beginning.  Our world seems like a chaotic and scary place.  Today, we are looking at Psalm 46 written during another chaotic time in Israel when the enemy surrounded Jerusalem.  In the midst of the world falling apart, we can have peace.  We have a refuge to run to.  We have a fortress to stay in.  We just need to be still and know God.  #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Today, we are continuing our series of messages focusing on miracles that Jesus did in response to the needs of people.  The goal is to glean some important things we can learn from them to help us as we face difficult times, emotional and physical needs, etc..
