I Thessalonians - Chapter 2 (whole chapter)

Its been a month since we were able to get back to our Wednesday night Bible Study in the book of I Thessalonians, so Pastor Terry decided to just start over and re-do I Thessalonians Chapter 2.  This time is it the complete chapter.  Back in November it was only part of the Chapter.  Chapter 2 focuses on Paul's ministry to the church in Thessalonica.  He had poured himself in to the people there.  He longed to return for a visit.  Several times he had tried and several times he had been prevented from going.  He reminds them that he had taught them to walk worthy of God's calling.  Are you walking worthy of God's calling on your life?

The Ultimate Goal of the Birth of Christ

In this message Pastor tells us the ultimate goal of the Birth of Christ.  Yes, He came to redeem mankind and provide a way of salvation, but yet there is still more beyond that.

I Thessalonians Chapter 2 - Part 1

Pastor Terry is back with us for his first time since surgery.  He brings to us a lesson about Paul's ministry and his focus.  Paul as a minister of the gospel always took precautions to make sure that he didn't burden those he taught and led to the Lord.  Like Paul, we too, should put others first, but not to the point that we compromise the gospel.  We are to remember that we are not men pleasers, but God pleasers.

In part 1 we learned that we need to pray with the right perspective.  In part 2 we will learn that we need to be devoted to prayer and with that will realize how great the power of God is.  We need to be alert in our prayer time and prepare ourselves for battle by putting on the armor of God.  We need to be patient and wait on the Lord for His answer.
