Unleashing God's Blessings

We start with Haggai today and listen to the declarations of the Lord to the people about their spiritual state. Refusal to build God's temple (i.e. doing God's Kingdom work) causes God to withhold His blessings. But saying "Yes" to God in obedience to Him (not straying from His will, but doing His will) will unleash God's blessings in our lives and in our churches. It will bring glory to God!

In Chapter 3 the Apostle Paul talks to Timothy about the perilous times and men that lay ahead.  He warns them about the last days.  He continues to remind him to stick to scripture which is inspired by God.

Acts - The Church on Fire - Chapter 5 Bible Study

In Chapter 5 of Acts we learn how members of the Church on Fire are vey in tuned with the Holy Spirit and His leading.  Ananias and Saphira try to deceive the Holy Spirit and the leadership of God's church.  God reminds the church that deception is not acceptable, that lying comes from Satan, the Father of Lies.  As the chapter progresses the Apostles are arrested and continue to stand strong for the Lord and see His protection throughout the situation.

Strongholds

Strongholds need to be removed from our lives.  Strongholds are anything that hold us back, prevent us from growing and serving, cause us to sin, etc.  In this message we will learn about strongholds and how to remove them from our lives.  We will also see what happens when we don't accept the Lord's mercy when he helps us eliminate strongholds.

God Knows and Cares About Mothers

Mom's deal with many things.  They can come from a wide variety of backgrounds.  They have a wide variety of needs and circumstances.  However, Moms can be comforted by the fact that God knows and cares about them.  He will give the grace, forgiveness, and love that they need.  He will provide for them.

II Timothy Chapter 2 Bible Study

The Apostle Paul was in prison in chains and facing a death sentence.  He wanted to write this letter to remind Timothy to be strong when he was gone.  He reminded him that we must die with Christ to live with Christ. He reminded him how important and useful the Word of God was and not to abuse the Word.  He reminded him that because he was young he faced lustful temptations that he must avoid. Once you are caught in these temptations you will be ensnared by the devil.  Therefore flee them.

Acts Chapter 4 Bible Study

We continue our study of "Acts the Church on Fire" with chapter 4.  In this chapter we see Peter and John arrested and facing the rulers and elders of the people.  They were threatened and released.  With boldness they declare that they can only do what the Father wants.  What men want is not important.  Is that your testimony in life?

The Sent

Jesus gave us very clear instructions in John 20:21 - "Peace to you! In the letter of 2nd Timothy we learn Paul is in prison in Rome.  Paul was expecting to receive the death sentence and wanted to write to strengthen Timothy and prepare him to withstand against false teachers.  He encourages Timothy to carry on the gospel message.
