The Apostle Peter reminds us that the Lord's promise about His return is not slack. People will say it has been thousands of years, "Where is He?" He wants them to know that the Lord once before came and wiped away the sin of the world with the flood and will come again and wipe it out with fire. As a result we need to live right and hope in this. He exhorts us to be found diligent by the Lord when He does return.

Herod begins perscecuting the Church's leaders.  He starts with executing James the Apostle and then moves on to arresting Peter.  Through this experience the church grows in faith and numbers when they see how God miraculously saves Peter and ends Herod's life.  We also learn the importance of believing that we will receive an answer to our prayers.  We end this chapter with Peter moving off the scene and Paul's missionary journey's beginning.

We are called to walk in the Light of Christ, cast off darkness and have fellowship with God and one another.  Pastor Terry goes over the benefits of living in the Light.

In this chapter the Apostle Peter addresses False Prophets and Fallen Angels.

Peter defends God's grace that had occurred at Cornelius house by telling the Apostles and Brethren in Judea what God had given to him in a vision.  Next we see Barnabas and Paul reaching many people for the Lord in Tarsus and Antioch.
