God can use night dreams or day dreams to reveal his purposes to us. Like Joseph, we need to make sure that we do not limit ourselves, based on our day to day circumstances. We need to realize that we have unlimited potential, when we follow God. Our dreams can be that inspiration God gives to carry us through life and help us to make the world a better place. Our life is a work of art. You are the artist. Your dreams can help you decide what will be on the canvas you paint.

God revealed his plan for Joseph through two dreams. Those dreams led to both good and bad things in his life, both of which were used to transform Joseph from a lad ripe with the ability to become arrogant into a godly man who would reign just under Pharaoh and save his family and the future of Israel. Last week we saw that as Jesus entered Jerusalem, he not only entered as King on that donkey, but He entered as a willing sacrifice and we saw that foretold in the story of Isaac when he went as a willing sacrifice with his father, Abraham, to Mount Moriah. Today, we will look at the foreshadowing of Christ’s Resurrection and return for His Bride, the Church, in the story of Isaac and Rebecca.

Then we will look at how God calls us to be a living willing sacrifice.
