The Kingdom Life - Part 7: A Peacemaker?
Sunday Nov 18, 2018
Sunday Nov 18, 2018
Today, we continue our message series on the Beatitudes of Matthew Chapter 5. Our last message series dealt with our union with Christ and what that meant. This message series is meant to take us to the next level in that union with Christ living it out in this world. The life Jesus describes in the “Sermon on the Mount” is impossible for us to accomplish on our own. The Kingdom Life is only possible if we are united to the King. Our union with Christ is the gateway to this new life. And today Pastor will discuss the third of three descriptions of how righteousness abounds in the heart of the hungry through peacemaking. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga #TheKingdomLife

Christmas Songs Tell the Story - Part 2: It Came Upon A Midnight Clear
Sunday Dec 17, 2017
Sunday Dec 17, 2017
As you might remember, we started a series of messages based on some of our favorite Christmas Songs of Faith. Last time, we looked at the song “We Three Kings of Orient Are” and focused on those three special gifts the Wise Men brought to the new born King and the three gifts He gave to us in return. This week we are examining two verses from the song “It Came Upon A Midnight Clear”. We will be taking a look at the angel’s message of peace and the prophecy foretold in this song.

Weary and Discouraged? Give Thanks!
Sunday Nov 20, 2016
Sunday Nov 20, 2016
After many years of bad economy, political and social changes, world instability, terrorism, moral decline, natural disasters, personal, relational and economic problems, and not the least the ever-increasing Christian persecution, we can become weary and discouraged. But through it all, as we look to God, He guides us and provides grace in every given need and situation. For this we are grateful with thankful hearts to God! We can find encouragement from the example of those who went before us and suffered, and by remembering Christ who endured much for us and we will not grow weary or discouraged as a result.

Bless Your Neighbors
Sunday Aug 09, 2015
Sunday Aug 09, 2015
Jesus sent out 70 of His disciples in pairs ahead of His arrival in to the cities and towns of Israel. They were sent to prepare the way, soften hearts, pray and share the good news that the Messiah had arrived. Just as those disciples went out in to their cities, we are called to do the same by our Lord. There are things we can do to begin the process of reaching our cities for God. Pastor Terry will give us some ideas on how we can begin to share the good news and bless our neighbors. (During this message, Carolyn, Pastor Terry’s daughter, gives her testimony of her recent mission trip to the Tenderloin district of San Francisco with her church).

White as Snow
Sunday Dec 14, 2014
Sunday Dec 14, 2014
Like many Christmas songs, White Christmas embodied a longing for hope and peace and joy. The Hebrew people themselves looked forward to their white Christmas, based on the prophecies of their coming Messiah. They knew that someday their sins would be made white as snow. Zacharias blessing and prophecy that he sang on his son’s naming day is a song much like our Christmas songs of today. It foretold of the wonderful ministry his son would have and prophesied of the great Messiah he would usher in and all that the Messiah would do for His people.

Trust in the Lord
Sunday Jan 26, 2014
Sunday Jan 26, 2014
The last few weeks we have looked at being devoted to God, worshiping God, and sharing the fruit of God. As a result of being devoted to God and worshiping God, we will also be able to trust God. We can trust in the Lord, because we have grown close to Him through devotion, worship and bearing fruit. We can hear His voice and receive His direction. We can understand His love and know that He is in control and will provide. We can learn to trust in the Lord and not ourselves.

Worship Comes From Within
Sunday Jan 12, 2014
Sunday Jan 12, 2014
Many Christians go to church on Sunday expecting to worship during the Worship Service, but is that what they end up doing? Many church goers are participating in what is called horizontal worship and not vertical worship. Any believer can worship anywhere at any time. A great praise team or preacher can help us get there, but it is not what is really needed. True worship comes from within the believer. This type of worship is what God is seeking. Once a Christian has experienced true worship, then they will naturally experience joy, peace and change.
