This series is meant to help believers explore what it means to follow Christ. The Bible teaches that none of us are perfect. We are all flawed human beings. Because of Jesus’s death, burial, and resurrection, however, we can receive forgiveness of sins. And, with the power of the Holy Spirt, we can better follow God’s Word more and more each day.  Today we talk about impressing others.  #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga #NewYears #HowtoBeaPerfectChristianatFSBC

Only because of the birth of Christ and His impact on our lives and the world can we truly acknowledge, It’s A Wonderful Life! This brings to mind the classic movie, where, George Bailey learned that his life did matter in spite of the trials and troubles he had in it. He learned that God had used his life to make a difference for the better in the lives of individuals in his community and even in the world. No matter what we may face in life, it really is A Wonderful Life, because we have the opportunity to affect others for the better and God’s Glory.   #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga #ChristmasattheMovies #ItsAWonderfulLife #NewYears #Christmas

In the book of Revelation we are told about the new name written on the white stone that we will receive from Jesus.  This name will reflect our faithfulness in overcoming the challenges in our lives.  Our new name will only be developed through a close relationship with Jesus.  What will your new name be?  What will your new name show about your relationship with Jesus?  Before your new name is carved on your white stone make goals this new year to draw closer to our Lord.
