Today we are beginning a four week Christmas sermon series exploring the beauty and importance of the incarnation through the lenses of 4 classic Christmas movies. Just as we find unexpected truth in these movies, we learn that the real Christmas Story is the story of God working in unexpected ways in the pursuit of people. The incarnation is a radical and important doctrine because it teaches us the true heart of God for the redemption of His fallen creation. Today we start with a “Miracle on 34th Street” and learn what Kris Kringle and Baby Jesus had and didn’t have in common. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga #ChristmasattheMovies

As with any human body, the head or the brain is what causes the other
parts to operate and do their job.
Therefore the body parts are dependent on the head/brain. So to, are Christians. Christ is our head and we are to be dependent
on Him as individual parts and as a whole functioning body.

Last week we learned that when a person receives Christ as their
Savior, they enter the New Covenant with God.
A covenant is a sacred agreement between God and a person or group of
people. This week Pastor Terry teaches us about the New Covenant between God’s
people that exists.

When a person receives Christ as their Savior, they enter the New
Covenant with God. A covenant is a
sacred agreement between God and a person. Our covenant with God is to be taken even more seriously then we take a
legal agreement with other humans. We we keep our part of the covenant, we are blessed.
