Today we had a special combined worship service celebrating the one year anniversary of our Hispanic mission church. The first 17 minutes of this podcast will be Pastor Jesus and his interpreter presenting a bi-lingual message out of II Timothy 3: 14-17. The last 21 minutes will be a bi-lingual message presented by Pastor Terry out of Ephesians 4:1-15.

“Time’s a-wastin’!” is an old saying that was used to convey the thought that “Time is running out” or “It is getting late. Hurry up!”. Today we are going to take a look at some important time periods prophesied about in the Bible that are coming to an end. Last week Pastor Terry asked us, “If our church was pulled out of our community, would it be missed?” To be missed, the church must have been an active and vital part of the community that was making a difference in it. This requires catching God’s vision and acting upon it in faith. If He has called us to do something, then we must go and do it no matter what our resources or abilities are. Too many times we think inside our own logical boxes of reason. We need to think outside of the box in faith. We start this service with some words about going and witnessing from our International Mission Board and some Christmas music. Would your community miss your church, if it were no longer there? Would you be missed if you were no longer in your church? Tough questions to ask, but ones that must be asked to analyze and measure our effect on those around us for the Lord. The first Sunday in November is the day we have set aside to remember in prayer the persecuted Christians around the World. In the United States, we face mild to moderate persecution. From ridicule, hindrance of freedom, and even sometimes being jailed. Around the World Christians face imprisonment, torture and death for their faith in Christ. Churches are bombed and burned repeatedly in some areas. Yet, these faithful Christians continue on. Are you persecuted in any form? If not, why? How will you stand for Christ in times of persecution?

After Paul and the ship's crew were shipwrecked on the Island of Malta they are greeted with great hospitality from the islanders. During which time the people were impressed with the miracle of Paul's snake bite and his ability to heal their people. As a result in the midst of great trial, Paul was able to witness and win many to the Lord. From there they head for trial in Rome. Once again Paul took great risk and shared the good news with the Jews who were there. This podcast concludes our study in Acts. Next series will be in the Book of Daniel.
