Our love relationship with God must make steps of growth. It is not enough to receive Jesus as Savior and then enjoy a private faith afterwards. The Lord expects us to take our private faith public into the world. We may face trials when we enter the world carrying our banner of love and faith, but it is in those trials that we will grow and our love will be proved. We must be careful not to fall into Spiritual Agoraphobia after receiving Christ

Our love for God is based on the marvelous work He did on our behalf on the Cross and through His Resurrection. In the beginning our love for Him was new and fresh. But this first love of victory in Christ is only the beginning of a great love relationship with God, a love relationship that God is ready to reveal to us when we’re ready to receive it. This first love experience with Jesus our Savior is just the beginning of a great and unexpected love relationship with Him.

Last week we begin the process of unlimiting God in our lives, by taking the first step of recognizing that the problem is never with God. This week we take the next step by working on developing a deeper love relationship with God. There are unlimited layers of truth for us to discover and many things that God wants to share with us. We have to be ready and prepared for Him to share that truth with us. To unlimit God and be prepared for a deepening revelation of God in our lives, we must eat meat!

Adam and Eve lived in the presence of God and His love. Then one day the serpent came along and tempted Eve. At that moment Eve chose to not remain in God’s love and not display her love for God. Next, she gave Adam the fruit. In both instances, Eve’s love became selfish. It became all about her meeting her needs and desires. As oil and water cannot mix, love and selfishness cannot mix.

Everybody matters to God, no matter whether God matters to them or not. God loves them and died for them, therefore we should love them too.
