A relationship based on love makes a world of difference. It allows us to serve others we love and experience joy when doing so. Love can make the most menial of tasks enjoyable. We observe this focus in Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians and in the “Shema” that the Israelites recited as a prayer each day. Love should be our motivation when serving God. A Christian’s labor of love brings them joy.

Last week we looked at scripture that helped us to know how to measure our Christian success in God’s eyes. This week we will look at what God has supplied us to have success in His Kingdom. God created time, just as He created everything else. He lives outside of time and created time for us to use for His glory. Being a good steward of time will allow us to have Kingdom success.

Many people measure their success in this world by the world’s standards when it comes to their lifestyle. Whether they have a good career, a home or a car can decide how they view themselves. If they have these things then they are a success. Sometimes Christians will translate this process over in to their spiritual life. They use worldly standards to evaluate their Christian walk or spiritual maturity. God doesn’t measure success the same way humans do. Today, we will take a look at scripture that will help us to measure our Christian success.

We are constantly bombarded with news of: Bombings, Wars, Uprisings, Riots, Spying, Government Wrong Doings, Persecution, Bankruptcies, Ungodly laws, Health problems, Accidents, Broken Relationships, and Financial Problems. Sometimes it can become overwhelming. God has given us a way to live through these difficult times and situations. We need to hold on to hope that is found in God's Word. We need to spur on one another to love and good works through encouragement during fellowship. Lastly, we need to value worshiping together.

You can make a grand entrance as one who kept firm to the race God set before you. Americans have been blessed to enjoy many freedoms. Many of us are noticing that are freedoms are being lessened and or taken away little by little. It is nothing new for laws of a land to endeavor to stop the “Voice” of Truth. We may be called on soon to make the choice between obeying man’s law or God. Our voice is evidence of our choice to stand on God’s Word. Without a voice we will lose our freedom. What choice will you make with your voice.
