Bridges allow us to cross waterways and canyons. They take us from where we are to where we want to go. But a bridge goes both ways. It not only takes us to where we want to go, but it can take us back to where we were. Our lives contain spiritual bridges disguised in physical decisions. Sometimes we come to a spiritual waterway or canyon and we don’t’ know how to cross it. But we can cross that bridge with God’s help in to our better future. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

They are lying on the side of so many roads, left behind by abuse, addiction, imprisonment, loss, famine, disease, violence, tyranny and oppression. There are people who are broken by injustice, stripped of their belongings, dignity, identity and self-worth. As Christians we can show compassion to people who are hurting or in need. We just need to cross the street, stop and stoop, and go out to the weary and scattered and lead them to the Shepherd. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

At the Mount of Transfiguration, God spoke from a bright cloud within earshot of three of the Disciples. He told them, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” They never forgot that voice and those words. Peter spoke of them again in his epistle. Jesus’ aim was to please His Father.
