However, our enemy, Satan, wants to stop up our wells so we no longer have what we need. He tries to push us out of our Promised Land. It’s important to take time to look at the amazing details found even in the smallest of God’s Creation, as well as think on the many good things God has done in our lives. Doing this helps us to focus on the greatness of God. It can pull us out a downhill spiral trouble can put us in. When we recognize the greatness of God, we are then to proclaim or magnify that greatness to all those we meet. We are to use praise as our magnifier. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Last week we talked about how the Messiah, Jesus came to bring repentance and remission of sins and build His Temple. This week we discuss how the purpose of this spiritual Temple is to offer up spiritual sacrifices to God. The spiritual sacrifices which Christians are to offer up are their: 1.Bodies, 2. Souls, 3. Last week Pastor began teaching us from the “Disciple’s Prayer” taught by Jesus and how the Apostles incorporated what they learned from Jesus into their prayers. This week we are taking a look at what Peter learned and taught and prayed for those suffering in Asia Minor. He calls out to the God of all Grace to help them with their suffering and teaches that how respond to our trials can help usher in God’s kingdom. Much like Saint Nicholas from AD300, Joseph chose to care for a child that was not his own, but that choice didn’t happen until God gave him a dream. God sent Joseph on a mission outside his comfort zone to care and a raise a child that was not his own. No wonder the angel in Joseph’s dream started out God’s message with “Do not be afraid!”. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

We need to choose wisely how we treat others, how we live life, how we educate ourselves, who we marry, etc. We need to also choose wisely who we elect to positions of leadership in our local, state and national governments. We have a choice to vote or not vote. We have a choice to vote based on an issue. We have a choice to vote based on our faith.
