Giving thanks to God should not stop, when Thanksgiving ends or the leftovers run out. All year long we need to give thanks! There is an account in the Bible given in all four gospels about leftovers. In it Jesus teaches us some important lessons to remember. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

They are lying on the side of so many roads, left behind by abuse, addiction, imprisonment, loss, famine, disease, violence, tyranny and oppression. There are people who are broken by injustice, stripped of their belongings, dignity, identity and self-worth. As Christians we can show compassion to people who are hurting or in need. We just need to cross the street, stop and stoop, and go out to the weary and scattered and lead them to the Shepherd. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Today we are continuing our four week Christmas sermon series exploring the beauty and importance of the incarnation through the lenses of 4 classic Christmas movies. Just as we find unexpected truth in these movies, we learn that the real Christmas Story is the story of God working in unexpected ways in the pursuit of people. The incarnation is a radical and important doctrine because it teaches us the true heart of God for the redemption of His fallen creation. Today we are looking at A Christmas Carol and learning about the fact that love was demonstrated at the incarnation to us and that we are to demonstrate love to others, as a result. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga #ChristmasattheMovies

Loss of income, property, health, family deaths, natural disasters and
personal tragedies can be frightening for the Christian, yet we have hope and
comfort with Christ. We can feel a sense
of being devoured spiritually or physically when bad things happen. The Bible teaches us about “The Devourer” who
seeks whom he may devour. In this
message we will examine the three things Christians can do to keep from being
devoured.

Everybody matters to God, no matter whether God matters to them or
not. God loves them and died for them,
therefore we should love them too. We
should be rich towards others through generosity, kindness, compassion and
looking to their interests first, because God loved us and showed compassion
towards us.
