We conclude today with part 3 of our series today “Set Free”.  We have been given the liberty to do and choose how we want to live our lives in Christ. It is expected by God that after we have received “liberty” in Christ, we are to choose to serve one another, this in essence is serving Christ.  Next we have been given liberty with all of God’s resources and guidance to transform the world and turn it upside down for the Lord. We have been set free to help set others free!

As Americans, we have enjoyed many blessings of liberty.  Unfortunately, our liberties are being gradually taken away.  As Christians, we enjoy freedom in Christ, but God expects us to uphold His Word of Truth so that our nation and world can know the freedom and blessings of liberty we have in Christ.  It is up to us to continue the blessings of liberty in our country.

God’s intention is for all Christians to be Spirit-filled.  First, a person must have salvation by faith through Christ.  Next a person must have a desire to surrender control of their life.  Lastly, a person must be persistently trusting God and living in Christ.  Being Spirit-filled is a continual experience.  As you walk in the Spirit you will see five basic characteristics of being Spirit-filled.  The key to being Spirit-filled, is to realize you already are and to tap in to that resource that God has given you to become all that He wants you to become and to bear much fruit for His glory.
