Last week we begin the process of unlimiting God in our lives, by taking the first step of recognizing that the problem is never with God. This week we take the next step by working on developing a deeper love relationship with God. There are unlimited layers of truth for us to discover and many things that God wants to share with us. We have to be ready and prepared for Him to share that truth with us. To unlimit God and be prepared for a deepening revelation of God in our lives, we must eat meat!

The best opportunities in life are found in Christ. One mother in the Bible felt the best opportunity for her sons would be in a guaranteed position of authority alongside Christ. She and the Disciples soon learned what Jesus expected from anyone reigning with Him.

Jesus uses some strong words to reveal how important it is that we have received Him and that we then share our hope with others. We need to remember that sharing the gospel message will cause division amongst our family and friends. However, we must hang in there and stand for Christ, despite any persecution or rejection. We can witness to others using their questions about the signs of the times they are seeing. We can also be straightforward and share with them that they will be judged for their sin, and that now is the day of their salvation and they should not be slow in accepting Jesus. We can be thankful for all the opportunities that God provides for us to share His good news with others, because it is a chance to provide hope to the hurting and lost.

Last week we learned about how Jesus sent the 70 disciples out ahead of Him into the cities. This week the disciples return with great joy about what they accomplished. Unfortunately, their joy was a prideful joy. Jesus explains to the disciples that pride comes before the fall and that their real joy should be a heavenly joy based on the fact that their names are written in the Lambs Book of Life.

Jesus sent out 70 of His disciples in pairs ahead of His arrival in to the cities and towns of Israel. They were sent to prepare the way, soften hearts, pray and share the good news that the Messiah had arrived. Just as those disciples went out in to their cities, we are called to do the same by our Lord. There are things we can do to begin the process of reaching our cities for God. Pastor Terry will give us some ideas on how we can begin to share the good news and bless our neighbors. Mountain top experiences with the Lord are wonderful. We wish we could just stay on the mountain top with Jesus, however, we all must come down off the mountain top to take what we have received or learned and share it with others.
