How do we get to the place where we are willing to live our lives wholeheartedly for Jesus? It starts with time spent with Him. Building our relationship with Him. Being “all in” for Jesus starts with dedicated, daily, methodical time in God’s Word and meditating on it throughout the day. Meditating on God’s Word will help us to have an evergreen life. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

There is an ancient African saying, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” This concept is true probably in every arena of life. It is important as Christians that we find those individuals who are like-hearted and like-minded and carry the same fire and whose passion burns as brightly as our own. If we are a gazelle, we need to run with the gazelles! #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Drive_In_Church_Message_titlescreen_640_041220.jpgToday, for Easter Sunday, we gathered together in the Church Parking Lot for a “Drive-In” Church Worship Service.  Everyone here today is celebrating our Risen Lord.  The Good News of the Salvation He brought through His death and Resurrection gives us hope now. Hope that carries us through good and bad times.  We need to share that Good News of His Resurrection and the hope He gives to everyone we meet when we drive back out of our churches and in to our communities. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

They are lying on the side of so many roads, left behind by abuse, addiction, imprisonment, loss, famine, disease, violence, tyranny and oppression. There are people who are broken by injustice, stripped of their belongings, dignity, identity and self-worth. As Christians we can show compassion to people who are hurting or in need. We just need to cross the street, stop and stoop, and go out to the weary and scattered and lead them to the Shepherd.  #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

What does the farmer know that we do not?  How does he view his future crop?  Can we operate with the same perspective as the farmer and glorify God through living with that perspective too?  Do you reserve the four corners for God and His work?  #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Last week we were challenged to cultivate our love relationship with Jesus. Why? Because as our relationship grows deeper and our love for Him grows there are four things that will develop in our walk with Christ: Purpose, Power, Passion and Perseverance. A Cultivated Love Relationship is the key to His power in our lives. To accomplish His Call or Purpose for our lives and to recognize His call or direction for our lives, we must spend time with Him. #fsbcsermon #fsbccoalinga

Many feel that their destiny lies in the hands of that mysterious entity called “Fate”.  This is not an accurate view.  We need to understand that our destiny is a choice.  Fate doesn’t control our destiny.  No matter what our physical destiny in life ends up being, as long as, we make choices based on Christ’s leadership and live out our lives based on our citizenship in Heaven, God will use us and our destiny to glorify Him.

Everyone leaves a legacy behind.  Some are good legacies by the world’s standards, others are not.  As Christians our goal should be to leave a godly and good legacy behind when we go to be with the Lord.  Like the Israelites, God has brought us out of Egypt or sin and given us a good land to possess.  Our new life in Christ must not be stalled out wondering in the desert like the Israelites did.  We must go live our new life in the good land.  With God we will conquer the giants we meet and we will do good for others in the process that glorifies God.  First we have a “to do” list to accomplish to be able to leave that legacy behind.
