A View From Above
Sunday Apr 28, 2013
Sunday Apr 28, 2013
It can be very difficult to get perspective in the aftermath of disasters, personal tragedies and difficult situations. Many questions arise. Why did God allow this? Where is God in this? What does God want me to do in this situation? Sometimes we look horizontally for perspective. Other times we look vertically. Today, our guest preacher, Peter Celum, will help us look at these difficult situations from God’s view. We will focus on God's Word in Philippians 4: 4-9 and learn how we can experience God’s peace in every circumstance. Initiated, UnInhibited, Impacting Love!
Sunday Apr 14, 2013
Sunday Apr 14, 2013
Six weeks ago Pastor Terry preached a message entitled “What’s Your Worldview?” out of Luke 6. Today, he will take a look at that passage again with a little different emphasis. In a crisis or in your daily life, how do you treat or think about others? As God’s children we need to make a distinction in the World by showing Christian love to everyone, including those we would consider our enemy or too different from ourselves. The love we exhibit as Christian’s is God’s love. A love that is very different from that of the World. Our love needs to be initiated, uninhibited, and impacting to grow God’s Kingdom. Glorify God!
Sunday Apr 07, 2013
Sunday Apr 07, 2013
Last week we experienced the discouragement of the disciples as they focused on the fact that their Lord was dead. We then saw their great joy as they discovered that He was alive. The first response they had after seeing Jesus (after being reminded about what He had told them) was to run and share the good news with others. They enthusiastically glorified God for what He had done. We, too, must glorify God for what He has done. We must take up our cross and follow Him in our lifestyle. We must go outside the doors of our church and let others see Jesus in us. We have been set apart for God’s Kingdom work and to glorify His name. (The last 3 minutes of this audio podcast had some technical issues. They are included, but the sound quality is different. We are sorry.) Remember What I Have Told You
Monday Apr 01, 2013
Monday Apr 01, 2013
The disciples of Jesus became sad and discouraged at His death, but all they needed to do was remember what He told them. Jesus presented himself multiple times to the disciples to remind them of what He had said. When they listened to His Word they were encouraged and hope was restored. We, too, must remember what He has told us in His Word and live in joy and hope. Contact us at thewordinfusion@mindspring.com with your comments, questions or praises.
