I Thessalonians Chapter 4 covers a lot of ground. The Apostle Paul encourages us to live like Christ is going to come back soon. He teaches us that we should live with urgency. The point is also made that we need to live sexually pure lives. At the end of the chapter Paul gives us words of great comfort regarding those loved ones that have already gone on to Heaven.

Unlike the miracle of the birth of a child embracing life, the miracle of the Brith of Christ gives life. Jesus' birth was foretold through prophecy and fulfilled through the miracle of God becoming flesh. That miracle was meant to bring about salvation for us and in return we are to share that miracle with others. Listen as Pastor Terry shares testimonies from two young Christians who are reaching out for Jesus.
In this chapter of Thessalonians we see the importance of encouraging each other in our faith. The Apostle Paul used Timothy to encourage the church in Thessalonica. Through his letter he encouraged them to also be blameless and to abound in love for one another.

Its been a month since we were able to get back to our Wednesday night Bible Study in the book of I Thessalonians, so Pastor Terry decided to just start over and re-do I Thessalonians Chapter 2. This time is it the complete chapter. Back in November it was only part of the Chapter. Chapter 2 focuses on Paul's ministry to the church in Thessalonica. He had poured himself in to the people there. He longed to return for a visit. Several times he had tried and several times he had been prevented from going. He reminds them that he had taught them to walk worthy of God's calling. Are you walking worthy of God's calling on your life?
In this message Pastor tells us the ultimate goal of the Birth of Christ. Yes, He came to redeem mankind and provide a way of salvation, but yet there is still more beyond that.
Pastor Terry speaks to us about how painful sacrifice in obedience to God can be joyful, because of God's Grace. Primary examples shared are are from Jesus, Moses and Joseph (Father of Jesus) lives.
